Catamaran Charters require a USD$500 deposit to confirm the reservation. Smaller boats can normally be reserved against a credit card and do not require deposits. Catamaran charter deposits can be paid on line, or taken on a card. VISA, Amex, Mastercard & Discover are all accepted. The balance can be paid to the boat captain on the day, either by cash, or card.
Cancellations must be notified in writing at least seven days prior to your scheduled charter date in order to avoid incurring a charge for the full charter. Providing we have seven days notice we are happy to make a full refund. If you cancel at shorter notice, we will do our best to get another charter for that time slot. If we get another charter, we will not charge you. Cayman Yacht Charters reserves the right to cancel charters due to weather conditions. Should we cancel for any reason, we will try to reschedule with you if we can, alternatively a full refund will be provided.
The larger boats all carry snorkelling gear all the time. For smaller boats it is available free of charge upon request. You are welcome to use our snorkel equipment, or to bring your own.
All you need is a bathing suit, beach towel and a change of clothes, if you like. We’ve got the rest covered. The catamaran has snorkelling gear, fishing gear, Jet Ski, fresh fruit platter, chips and dips and cold drinks. We request that you not bring spray sunscreen on your cruise, as it is particularly harmful to the environment, especially our beautiful reefs and marine life. It may also make the boat unnecessarily slippery.
You can snorkel at some of the most stunning reefs, corals and wrecks in the world, swim with the stingrays at the world famous Stingray City and hold live starfish at Starfish Point. On some charters you will also be able to; fish, jet ski, or use a sub-wing.
Yes, we have life jackets on the boats for all sizes, from 20lbs and upwards
We are happy to accommodate your needs. You are most welcome bring your own food, snacks and drinks. We can provision the boat with beverages for you. We charge cost plus 20% for this service. On Catch the Cat catamaran full day charters there is the option to enjoy a delicious on board BBQ (at extra cost) On full day private charters, there is also the option to stop at a waterside restaurant for lunch, or dinner.
The luxury boats all have premium sound systems and you can connect via bluetooth to play your own music.
