Cayman fishing charter boats come no better than Why Knot. She is a Bertram 38 that was fully renovated and re-powered a few years ago. You will soon see why she is considered the perfect platform for deep sea fishing charters. Why Knot is a safe, powerful and versatile fishing boat. Her proven hull design provides the sort of reassurance and ride that discerning fishermen demand when going deep sea fishing. Her modern Yanmar engines run quiet and clean.
Cayman Fishing Charters require experienced and hard working Captains. We are proud to say that our captains are amongst the most experienced and enthusiastic, When they are not out on a fishing charter, you will generally find them out fishing for pleasure. A native Caymanian and avid sportsman, Captain Kirk has over 30 years experience running cayman fishing charters. Fishing Offshore and Inshore several hundred trips a year has provided the knowledge to catch fish regardless of the time of year. A lifetimes experience out on the Caribbean Sea means you are getting a captain, who can read the weather and the sea and who knows about deep sea fishing. Wahoo and Mahi Mahi are the most commonly caught game fish around the Cayman Islands. Marlin put in frequent and spectacular appearances. There are also plenty of Tuna and Snapper to be caught in Grand Cayman waters.
Cayman fishing charters do not need to run 60 miles offshore to find deep enough water for game fishing. We are lucky enough to be in deep water almost as soon as we get through the barrier reef. You can leave the dock and be fishing in 600 feet of water 15 minutes later. This means that you get to spend more time fishing

Cayman Fishing Charters
Half Day Fishing Charter US$ 1500
Full Day Fishing Charter US$ 2200
Fishing charter price includes two crew, fuel, water, sodas and bait. You have the option to spend part of the day snorkelling, or sight-seeing. We are very flexible and will do our best to accommodate any requirements that you may have.
Remember to bring personal items such as hats, sunglasses, and sun cream. The sun can be strong when you are out fishing. Reeling in a big game fish can be pretty hard work, if you need help, ask the crew – many people do (what happens on board stays on board!)
